Trust

We trust and respect our partners, communities, and one other to do work to change the world. 

We trust communities to utilize the publicly available, CZ-created resources in a way that is most impactful for them. We trust one another to get the work done, act with integrity, make community-centered decisions, and receive/provide feedback with grace. Because of our shared values, we operate through collaboration and can depend on one another.

Restorative and Transformative

Campaign Zero knows that an equitable and just society is only possible through a restorative approach. We recognize the need to dismantle systemic racism and white supremacy, and work towards a more just and compassionate society. Through our work, we seek to co-produce transformative structural change by uplifting community-centered solutions and reimagining systems that seek to be restorative, and not punitive. 

Humility

Our work comes before our egos. We learn from and teach one regardless of the credit or criticism. We live humility by willing to be wrong, actively listening, and pushing one another to remain grounded in the greater purpose of producing the best work on behalf of communities. 

Integrity

We are honest with ourselves, one another, and our partners through our actions, work, and outlook. Our work is research driven, transparent, and clear. We make the work accessible and usable for everyone and create tools for communities to utilize independently.
