Cassie Ippaso is the Managing Director of Campaigns & Policy at Campaign Zero. In this role, she leads a team of policy specialists and researchers in crafting data-driven campaigns to effect meaningful change in the criminal legal system and drive the organization’s policy agenda.
Cassie joined Campaign Zero in 2021 as a Policy & Advocacy Fellow with Leaders for Educational Equity. Since then, Cassie has led the development and launch of the End Qualified Immunity and Rikers in Crisis campaigns. Before Campaign Zero, she taught English at the International High School of New Orleans and is a 2017 Teach for America alumna.
Cassie holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently lives in New York City, where she spends her free time outdoors or with a good book.
