Shauna Anthony is Managing Director, Policy at Campaign Zero and a seasoned public policy expert focused on crafting and implementing solutions rooted in racial equity. 

In her role at Campaign Zero, Shauna works with the team of advocates and experts to develop policies and outreach strategies that support the various campaigns aimed at making the criminal legal system more equitable.  

Prior to joining Campaign Zero,  Shauna worked for Baltimore City Public Schools, where she most recently was the Special Assistant to the Chief Human Capital Officer, implementing the strategic plan and leading the day-to-day operations of the office. She previously  led the Strategy and Human Capital data management organizations with Baltimore City Public Schools and worked in the Chancellor’s Office of the NYC Department of Education, where she advised on and implemented policies to promote equity and support student learning for 1.1 million students.

Shauna studied Philosophy and Sociology at UMBC and received her M.S. in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from the New School, with a focus on education policy.  She lives in Maryland with her partner, two tiny humans, a dog, and lots of chickens.
