As we honor Black History Month, we are once again excited to announce ‘The Blackest Book Club’ Reading List, a powerful and inspiring collection of stories, poems, and essays from Black creatives and writers.
Originally launched in 2023, Campaign Zero has partnered with Reconstruction and Pod Save the People to uplift Black voices and experiences through the power of literature in 2024.
The Blackest Book Club Reading List is a resource for people of any age, and can be used as an instrument of impact for all members of the community. We encourage you to use it to explore, share, and foster authentic conversations and connections.

Featuring a curated collection of titles from classic and contemporary Black authors who inspire and challenge us, we share this list with you so that their genius will continue to create understanding and connection among us.
Pod Save the People is hosting a month-long podcast series in February 2024 lifting up books from the list that changed the way the hosts see the world, and inspire and transform the inner and external work they do today. Find new PSTP episodes on Crooked media or wherever you get your podcasts every Tuesday this month to explore along with them!
